I can point to this project as one that completely changed a certain period of my life. While I was still a student, after winning first place in the Adventure Viral Advertising competition at Boğaziçi University, I set out on my graduation project to answer the question, “What is Graphic Design?” To do this, I traveled to six cities in Turkey, conducting interviews with deans, agency heads, and experts in the field. During this time, I also learned about interactive publishing. The iPad had just been released, and I had already completed my graduation project, so I needed to find a job. In 2012, I attended a course on interactive publishing and ended up creating a project related to it. Through my research, I realized that it was the first interactive CV published on the App Store and Play Store worldwide. Enjoy watching!

Problem and Solution
Problem: I was a fresh graduate in 2012, during a time when the term “interactive” was gaining popularity, and I needed to find a job. There was only one company I had always dreamed of working for.
Solution: To capture the attention of this company, I decided to present an interactive and creative piece of work. After completing the interactive CV, I realised that iPads, capable of downloading this work from the App Store, were still not widely available. Therefore, the real solution was to create a trailer for it and have it shared by popular technology news channels.

Execution and Technology
During the release years of the iPad 2, Adobe introduced the Digital Publishing Suite plugin for InDesign. The project was created using InDesign DPS along with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects. Additionally, interactive elements were enhanced using stop-motion techniques for the logo, posters, and personal information, as well as some HTML coding.
Results & Interactive CV in the Media
Conclusion: As a result, the company I had always dreamt of working for offered me a job. Additionally, I received a total of 30 job offers from various countries.
In the Media: The reason the company noticed me was because technology blogs retweeted and reported on the video. This experience highlighted for me the importance of PR as the final step in the completion of a project. After appearing live on Turkey’s national television channel, TRT News, my project was featured on popular advertising and web design blogs like Bigumigu, Shiftdelete.net, and Dipnot Tablet. I was also invited as a speaker for TedX and Behance Review.
