Project Idea and Summary


The A Life Mobile Application is a revolutionary health app designed for A Life Health Group, a well-established healthcare institution operating two hospitals and over 40 units in Ankara. Developed in 2022, the UI design of this project was created to provide users with easier and faster access to healthcare services. Through A Life, users can manage a variety of health services on a single platform, including booking hospital appointments online, viewing past appointments, accessing lab results, and finding on-duty pharmacies.

Problem and Solution


Problem: In the previous system, users could not book appointments for their relatives, and the online appointment process was complex. The booking system was limited to a single page, preventing users from navigating back to previous steps. Additionally, there were technical issues with radiology imaging and laboratory results.

Solution: The new design simplified the appointment booking process into three easy steps and enabled users to book appointments for their relatives. The appointment flow was improved, and the feature to leave reviews for doctors was added, enhancing the user experience. New sections such as reports, personal pages, contracts, and invoices were introduced. Furthermore, an easy pharmacy finder feature was integrated.

Execution and Technology


All UI/UX designs for the project were created using Figma. Nearly 100 screens, along with custom icon sets and component sets, were designed. The designs were optimised and delivered in line with the developer team’s requirements. Interactive prototypes were also prepared to clearly demonstrate user flows.

Results


Thanks to this comprehensive design, users now have easy and quick access to healthcare services. Patients and their relatives can comfortably book appointments, access health reports, and leave feedback about doctors. The user-friendly and clean design has led to high user satisfaction.
